Doug Haynes advises Executives of Leading Public and Private Firms

Doug Haynes is a summa cum laude mechanical engineering graduate. He graduated from West Virginia University. He later attended the Darden Graduate School of Business as a Shermet Scholar. He worked with many leading companies as an engineer and business expert.
Doug Haynes started his career as a software developer for the US Central Intelligence Agency. He later joined GE’s Plastics Business Group as an engineer. He changed course and attended graduate business school. After graduating from business school, he led the Global Operations practice of McKinsey and Company and led the company’s operations in Northeast US. He became a senior partner of the company and co-founded the technology-based services offered by the company. He left McKinsey and Company to join the premier equity hedge fund, Point 72. He was named president of point 72 Asset Management. In October 2021, he was appointed as the Interim Chief Executive Officer of Hazeltree Fund Services and was recently appointed Executive Chairman of Hazeltree. Currently, he serves as the President of The Council and his advice is sought after by executives of leading companies and startups including FRISQ, Obsidian Asset Management, and the Vega Factor.
Haynes is committed to community service. He plays an active role in supporting organizations that work to improve the lives of veterans, poverty-fighting charities, and organizations imparting education. He founded and remains a board member of Cohen Veteran’s Bioscience, Cohen’s Veteran’s Network, and the Center for Global Enterprise. He serves on the board of Camp Southern Ground in Georgia and the Robin Hood Foundation in New York. He serves on the board of institutions imparting education including the Canterbury School, The Randolph Macon Academy, Villanova University, and The Darden Graduate School of Business.
Doug Haynes has provided valuable customer services and business advice to new and established entrepreneurs throughout his career. He also serves on several boards of institutions and organizations that provide services to give the less fortunate a better quality of life.
