Robert Kraft: C.E.O of The Kraft Group

Robert Kraft is a business mogul who’s currently the C.E.O of The Kraft Group, founded by his father in 1923. Robert grew up playing football at Columbia University and married his college sweetheart, Myra Cohen. He then bought the Patriots in 1994 and has since won five Super Bowl championships during his time as owner of the team.

Robert Kraft attended Brookline High School in Massachusetts, where he played football and lacrosse. Kraft was a standout athlete in both sports and received numerous awards during high school. In addition to being a gifted player, Kraft was known for his team leadership positions and admired his hardworking attitude on and off the field.

1972, he founded International Forest Products, Inc. with his father and served as its president and C.E.O. During this time, Kraft took his first step towards a business career and worked in different leadership positions. He was a member of the board of directors from 1972.

American Football League, Kraft was the Patriots’ team owner. Kraft’s father came up with the idea to start a team on Long Island, and they began trying to find investors. After finding financial support, the team was founded in 1960 and picked the Patriot’s name right away.

Robert Kraft is also involved with other business ventures outside of The Kraft Group. He is still an active shareholder in the Boston Celtics and is involved in the efforts to build a new stadium for the franchise. Kraft also founded the Kraft Group Canada, based in Toronto, Ontario, and was created to help businesses with global ventures. He has also served on the boards of directors for companies, including Rand-Whitney Corporation.

Kraft was born in Brookline, Massachusetts, on the 5th of June in 1941. He is the current chief executive officer of the Kraft Group and the New England Patriots owner. He is a graduate of Columbia University. See this page for additional information.
