Big Ben has always had a sportsman’s affinity. An Ohio native, he didn’t just play three sports at Findlay High School, he set many state records as an all-league, all-district athlete before beginning his collegiate football career.

As starter for Miami of Ohio from 2001-2003, Ben Roethlisberger set nearly every passing record in 38 games. 11,075 yards in total offense playing for the Red Hawks’ over three seasons earned him record-breaking rewards in his conference division. This made him a great draft pick for his professional career before it had even begun.

Big Ben started his NFL career as a first-round pick for the Pittsburgh Steelers, helping them win three-quarters of their first hundred home games with him as their starter. In his 18 season career, Ben Roethlisberger has led the Steelers to seven AFC North Championships, four AFC Championships and two Super Bowl victories in three championship game appearances. Ben Roethlisberger is a two-time Super Bowl Champion (became the youngest quarterback in history to do so at 23 years old), six-time Pro Bowler, and two time NFL passing leader.

January 27th, 2022, Big Ben announced his retirement from the NFL.

Ben Roethlisberger is more than an award winning athlete. He is an all-American Christian family man, a husband, father of three, and a very active philanthropist. He actively donates to causes that require assistance, such as the 2005 tsunami relief fund. He funded Pittsburgh’s K9 Unit and continues to donate to the police.

Ben’s own non-profit, “Roethlisberger Family Foundation” provides resources and assistance towards the mission of strengthening familial bonds. Outside of his own foundation, he also donates to and partners with many other philanthropic organizations such as Light of Life Rescue Mission, which provides meals to the homeless population of Pittsburgh. He and his wife also fund many startups that make a real difference, such as NeoLight, a neonatal care tech company.
